Soap Making has really grown over the last few years as more and more people are discovering the health benefits of natural oils and butters for their skin. Artisan soap made from scratch is very different to store bought soap. The natural process of soap making goes through a chemical reaction called "saponification". Once the soap has been saponified it is extremely moisturising and luxurious. This is why it is so good for eczema and dry skin sufferers.
