Are your handmade soaps palm free?

Absolutely! All our handmade soaps are vegan, palm oil free, sulphate free, paraben free, eco-friendly, cruelty free, eco friendly and made in Australia. Coconut Luxe uses essential oils and phthalate free fragrance oils which are sourced from reputable suppliers here in Australia. 

What’s the difference between commercial soap and Coconut Luxe handmade soaps?

Commercial soaps have been stripped of a byproduct that handmade soap produces during the process. This ingredient is called Glycerin.

Large soap manufacturers removed glycerin from the soap as part of the commercial soap process because it makes the soap harder for longer, however in return in makes the soap drier than your natural home made soap. It’s what makes handmade soaps unique and gentle on the skin.

Why are handmade soaps so expensive compared to supermarket soaps?

As a small business we produce small batches unlike factory based soap makers that skimp on nourishing ingredients. Although we can still buy our ingredients in bulk the Australian import price has increased making it harder to source our ingredients locally, unfortunately this impacts the overall price per unit. We can guarantee however that our products are locally made and supported by many local businesses also.
